What Is Bodywork?
In bodywork, we give space to our sensations.
Everything that has happened in the past and is happening now is expressed in the body—
A stiff neck, an uneasy stomach, pressure in the chest, an aching leg…
As well as pleasant sensations like expansion in the chest, spreading warmth, or butterflies of excitement.
Traumas or unpleasant experiences from the past are stored in the body like capsules. Sometimes, we encounter a situation (a trigger) that opens one of these capsules, bringing up pain and difficulty that feel overwhelming.
All these sensations are actually an invitation—
An invitation to go inward, to expand, and to transform.
When we allow these sensations to exist in a state of relaxation, within the parasympathetic nervous system, they can fully unfold and transform.
This process happens in a safe and supportive space.
With permission and gentleness, not with force or pressure.
Instead of reaching a breaking point or emotional flooding, we learn how to process our sensations in a way that is free of judgment—
With acceptance, compassion, and release.
From the core of our humanity.
Unpleasant sensations reach their completion and are replaced with acceptance and calm.
Pleasant sensations are fully experienced, and our entire being moves into a state of greater ease and wholeness.
Our experience of life changes when we learn to embrace and transform the sensations in our body.
Challenges become opportunities.
This is possible for everyone, in any situation, at any age.
It doesn’t make life perfect or filled only with happiness,
but it makes everything possible.
It makes coping possible.
We no longer drown in our emotions—
We feel them fully, and they naturally shift.
Everything is temporary, fleeting, and ever-changing.
Emotions, too.

My name is Ishani, which means Goddess in Hindi.
In recent years, I have been exploring and learning about the realms of the mind, spirit, and consciousness. For as long as I can remember, I’ve had a strong intuition—an inner knowing—but over the years, I muted and silenced this intuitive voice, which I call the voice of the soul.
This voice lives within each of us; yet, in Western society, we often suppress it to fit in.
We tend to hide our individuality and follow the crowd.
When we give ourselves time and space, we can reconnect with that intuitive voice, where all the answers already exist.
We are here as human beings to experience and grow, yet at our core, we are light, love, and wholeness, united with all that has been and all that will be.
In my work, I draw from tools in Theta Healing, emotional flow,
and somatic awareness.
I believe that we are our own best healers,
here to enjoy life, grow,
and live in peace and happiness.
This is possible for anyone, at any time,
at any age, and in any situation.

Emotional flow method
Emotional surfing is a method of guidance that helps individuals recognize, acknowledge, process, and address their feelings and emotions. This applies to emotions rooted in the past that have been "frozen" in the body, like childhood traumas, as well as emotions arising from daily life experiences. Most of us were not taught to identify and acknowledge our feelings—in fact, often the opposite. We learned to suppress, conceal, and overcome emotions to function in a Western society.
By becoming familiar with our sensations and emotions, we can lead calmer, more peaceful, and relaxed lives. We can reduce the drama in our lives, recognize when our mind is "taking over," and face any challenge or difficulty from a stable, secure center. We will learn to become our own anchor in turbulent times. The storms come and go, and from this stability, peace and confidence emerge.
This method is simple and accessible to everyone, grounded in the belief that each person is their own best healer. Authority returns inward, to its most natural and accurate place within us—inner authority rather than external.
